The turbo prop version of the DC-3 might be a good candidate as well. Managed airframe and powerful turboprops replacing the more common engine.

How much longer does the Queen have with Delta? Are they going to phase them out in favor of the 777x?

Depends on fuel prices, but I doubt they will see another D check. The A350 is the main replacement.

Yes. 747-400 #1. It is part of the Delta Museum. The funny thing is that the parking lot it is sitting in used to be part of the old airport ramp.
